We have been dealing with Xlibis for months now and the entire experience has been a nightmare! We paid for a service that we did not receive and were handed off to no less than 19 different employees who clearly did not communicate with each other.

We sent them the manuscript to review and edit and catch any grammatical mistakes. This was a main selling point in the package that we purchased. They didn't catch a single erro and then tried to blame it on us for not catching them! Why the *** would I hire a company to edit my book and pay them a large sum of money if they just expected me to edit it!

They are RUDE and dismissive. We actually had to hire and outside source to edit our book since they were not capable of doing so. We had to pay someone else to do their job! Then when we tried to get a refund or just be compensated for having to hire an editor they said they are not capable of doing so.

They actually tried to say that they did their job and it was our fault for hiring someone else to do their job. WOW, so much for working with the customer here. Their way of saying sorry and making it right was to mail us 50 more books for free. UM, why would I want 50 more books riddled with errors.

We have stopped all printing and told them to take our book offline as we talk with a lawyer. They couldn’t even do that! Our book (the one with that is riddled with errors) is still online and one of the site actually has 5 chapters available to view without having to pay! That is not a preview that is basically half the book for free!!!!

Associates have actually told us that they have read part of our book. I was shocked and embarrassed since they pointed out the mistakes they found! Since we are in the entertainment industry, we have had our agents book us on a few talk shows so that we get our message across so that others are not scammed by this incompetent company.

Trying to get them to answer any emails or call you back is a joke. So, we will just use the media platform to communicate.

Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.

Monetary Loss: $4000.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Xlibris Cons: Unresponsive to customer needs after they got your money.

We have actually spoken to an Indiana judge and they have reviewed the contract. Due to services agreed and paid for not being delivered and the fact that we have proof of said services not being delivered, we can move forwarded with suit.

Make sure to exam your contract and gather any and all proof that show services you paid for not provided. We are meeting with our lawyers this week.

You must find someone with a better grasp of English composition than is evident by the reading of your post. It, too, is riddled with errors, improper syntax, and misspellings.

See, I don't have to have good grammar. The entity that does however is the one that I paid $3900 plus to. My english composition just has to be good enough to attract the attention of a lawyer and judge.
