My 8-year old signed up for info, because he wanted to publish a comic book. He hadn't completed the book, just wanted to learn the process of getting one made.
He shouldn't have shared my phone number, but he was just a kid and had no idea what would happen. When the first call came, I explained the situation to the customer service rep. She called weeks later, to see if the book was complete. By then, of course, my son lost interest and had moved on to other projects.
Two years later, I still receive calls. Many of them are before 8 a.m. I am a writer with completed manuscripts I plan to publish.
I will not use this company, because they are too aggressive and have not respected my requests to stop calling. We write to be heard, and this company doesn't listen.
