Everybody hates the Xlibris scam

1.0
Details
I've previously handed over my money and my book on Feb, 2018 with a questionable Xlibris consultant which turned out to be a financial disaster. This came about at the time I was enticingly solicited to invest over $55,000 by their stalker telemarketer’s endless calls, among lies who tried to sell me an unneeded program with 7 more years before expiration, which I already paid for . Thus, the outcome produced zero results up until now. Related: Xlibris - No royalties, rude, gave the runaround, lie about money back etc..

Xlibris Scam

Imagine that you are being robbed or have been robbed. I have added a few names of the people that had exchanged e-mails with me; they are more than that. When I first contacted the Xlibris Scam I dealt with Dexter He sent me an e-mail confirming my agreement based on the payment and to let me know the book was going to be sent to production to be published. This is one of the many comments that I found online about the Xlbiris Scam: I simply cannot get anyone to respond to e-mails on a book I am publishing with the company. The company says my book has already gone on sale, though they are obligated to provide me with a sizeable number of free books for my book launch they have not and are not responding to e-mails. Does this sound familiar? Did I get robbed? As it turns out, they are still selling my book. Are they thieves or what? They are all criminals. Be careful It you could your worst nightmare. What they are saying:PRINT READY book with all the files for the cover and webpage. I have not received the pysical proof I simply can not get anyone to respond to my e-mails on a book I am publisihing with the company. The company says my book has already gone on sale, though they are obligated to provide me with a sizeable number of free books for my book launch they have not and are not responding to e-mails..I PAID FOR BASIC EDITING.I WAS MAKING WEEKLY PAYMENTS.THEY WOULDNT EVEN LOOK AT THE MANUSCRIPT UNTILL ALL PAYMENT WAS DONE. I PAID FOR BASIC EDITING.NOW THEY TELL ME I NEED CONTENT EDITING WHICH IS OVER $300.00 .NOW THAT IS PAID FOR.THEYRE.. asking for more

I am horrified as I read all but two comments. This negative comment here leads me to believe there is still hope for success, as they've been looking over my manuscript daily and I have but only made one small payment thus far.

3 months ago, when checking "My Royalties" on the Xlibris website, there were: 1 "hard cover" book sold and 3 e-books. A few days ago i tried to log-in again and: 1) the password was not working - i changed it; 2) - THERE WAS NO "PAPER" COPY SOLD! Misteriously diappeared! But: the company has a new name: XLIBRIS CORPORATION! Yes, they are a "corporation" now - SELL "CUSTOMER SERVICES" (with the same Indiana, USA accent and new names!) TO 2 MAJOR INTERNET, TELEPHONE AND MOBILE PROVIDORS IN NEW ZEALAND! They are like vampires - nothing even shakes their greedy, incompetent bellies!

Penguin is a silent partner in the company, but they have literarlly nothing to with it other than collecting money. From Penguin's perspective anyone who pays to publish is an *** and a bad writer so they might as well make money off the losers and have a second income stream to support the real publishing.

They leave everything up to Author Solutions which is a scam company with links to the Mafia.

The reason all the books are overpriced and often labeled out of print is that they are used to launder money for organized crime. This is also the reason why Author Solutions is so rich and multinational with all the different names including Xlibris, because they are supported by organized crime and all employees are instructed in *** men bait and switch tactics.

Xlibris just kept my Dad's $4000 and never even printed the book. They promised a refund but they never gave it. They blocked him from ringing their offices to ask for his money back. Their contract said they would give a refund but they lied about sending a check....

Xlibris review in Auckland, Auckland: Xlbiris ruined my parent's lives

My dad found Xlbiris looking up literary agent on google. The Xlbiris sales rep pretended to be a literary agent! . He promised my father's book would be made into a Hollywood film if he paid for the most expensive package and additional marketing services! This individual, has literally thousands of untouched manuscripts littering his property, all representing the dreams of hopeful authors, discarded without even a glance.Dad was promised $100,000 in royalties and a film deal. Sadly, he spent the money on my elderly and disabled mother before he received It and he never got it,!He lost his home as a result. Tell everybody about this fake company! They are demons!

Thanks for the info on this company. Prospective authors need to know that you should never pay to have a book published unless you do so yourself with a contract with a small publisher.

All these places like Xlbiris do is take your money and run.

As you now know. Scamming people is not new and it is incumbent upon us to watch out for what our parents, as they age, are getting in to---as they did for us while we were growing up.

Xlibris Scam

Xlbris is a scam Between my wife and myself, we call these *** 2-3 times daily, to get some sort of refund confirmation...and get passed around from *** to ***, treated rudely, each with less information than the prior. we have pretty much written off the idea of seeing anything (in whole, or in part) of our fraudulently attained payment, I can't believe the people who actually bend over and swallow this ***! How much money do you finally spend to finally? (and I guarantee...don't profit one dime) to see your 'dream' produced in sub-standard quality, with the constant phishing for rubbish upgrades? ...I would guess, either too ashamed, ..too dumb...or just too inexperienced in the publishing world to know the 'real deal' so, 'Step right up folks..I have this bridge..."
